Study opportunities in the U.S. for lecturers under Fulbright/LASPAU Program
The United States Embassy's Office of Public Affairs invites applications from full-time lecturers at Jamaica’s tertiary level institutions to be considered for scholarships under the 2008 Fulbright/LASPAU (Latin American Scholarship Program of American Universities) Faculty Development Program. Sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in the U.S. Department of State, the scholarships are available for full-time study in pursuit of Master’s or Doctoral degrees at U.S. universities, beginning in August 2008.

All applicants need to complete the online application. This will allow officials at the Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Department of State, and the LASPAU office in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to view applicant records the day they are submitted and to communicate electronically with applicants.
Applications should be submitted electronically no later than Wednesday, May 2, 2007 (no late applications will be entertained). Applicants should carefully follow the instructions provided at the web address. Once applications have been submitted, persons can return to the online application website to check application status and verify that supplemental documents provided have been received.
