All applicants must bring a current contract or crew letter from their company to their interview.  Jamaican and Caymani residents must schedule their own appointments.  All applicants, regardless of primary residence, must fill out an electronic visa application form.  Handwritten forms will not be accepted.  Click on Download Forms to complete the application forms.

For non-Jamaican and non-Caymani residents (third -country nationals)

If you will be in Kingston for only a short time, you may follow the procedures for requesting an emergency appointment.  Please note that walk-in emergency window service will no longer be provided.  You need to bring your current passport and seaman’s log in addition to your current contract or crew letter.  To renew a C1/D, your current visa must expire within two months from the date of your appearance at the embassy.  See Visa Renewals for further details on visa processing time.  Due to processing time requirements, third-country nationals are strongly encouraged to either renew their C1/D visas in their home country or plan to spend at least two days in Kingston.
