Passports
Second Passports
Generally, a U.S. citizen cannot have two passports of the same type, such as two tourist passports. There are exceptions, however, under certain circumstances. Additionally, if you need an additional passport of a different type (i.e., official or diplomatic), please contact the ACS section of the U.S. Consulate in Kingston (876-702-6000 between 7:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday) or the Consular agencies in Montego Bay (876-952-0160 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday - Friday) or Grand Cayman (345-945-8173 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for assistance. All applications for second passports must be accompanied by the necessary passport fees ($92 USD for adults and $82 USD for minors), photographs and as appropriate, evidence of citizenship and identity. All applications also must be accompanied by a written statement that sets forth the reasons why a second passport is required.
