U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section to host a Short-Term Worker/Performer Agent Information Session

The Visa Unit of the U. S. Embassy’s Consular Section is hosting an information session about Short-term Worker/Performer Visas to introduce new processing information which will become effective February 1st, 2008.  We will also answer questions about the new procedures.    Our new procedures have been developed to improve the quality, efficiency and security of service provided to the applicants and their agents.  Attending this session will give agents an opportunity to learn about the changes and get answers to questions about the short-term worker/performer program.

The session will be held at 2:00 PM  on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the Consular Section Waiting Room at the U.S. Embassy at 142 Old Hope Road in the Liguanea area of Kingston.  Agents should plan to arrive early to go through security and be seated for a prompt 2:00 PM start.  A photo ID is required for admission to the Embassy Compound.  Cell phones, cameras, beepers and all other electronic items are prohibited, so please arrange to secure such items elsewhere before entering.   Transportation information is available on our web-site at: http://kingston.usembassy.gov/parking2.html
