US Embassy to close on Emancipation & Independence Days

The Embassy of the United States of America in Kingston will be closed on Wednesday August 1 and Monday August 6, 2007 for Emancipation Day and Independence Day, which are Jamaican public holidays.

The Consular Section, Consular Agency in Mobay, the Information Resource Center, USAID and Peace Corps offices will also close on those days.

The Embassy and its affiliated offices will reopen on Thursday August 2 and Tuesday August 7 respectively.
